Blancpain has launched a new product in its Villeret timepiece collection: a 38 mm ultra-thin watch with date display.

The new Villeret Ultraplate Ref. The 6224 retains all the typical characteristics of the Villeret series. Since the early 1980s, it has been characterized by a slender double-step case, a low-key dial, gold-plated hour markers and leaf-shaped hands.

The elegant 8.35mm thick case is made of stainless steel or red gold, framed with a white or opaque dial, and decorated with 28 gold appliques carefully positioned by hand to form Roman numerals.
